This post brings us back to Vatican City, the smallest state in the world with a population of only 800.

The St Peter’s Basilica is truly a wonder to visit.

I’ve always marvelled at church architecture and the St Peter’s Basilica really blew me away. The sheer size of the interior is enough!!

I’m not a religious person although you could say I’m agnostic? It was extremely overwhelming in this church but I can’t seem to describe it much.

(By the way, I’m not here to discuss religion with anyone here, you respect mine, I respect yours.)

Bonus pic!!

This wasn’t taking in Vatican City but I like how it makes me feel all “Inception-y”.

    Wow Arissa,

The last picture is truly Inception-y. And if stare too long at it, I feel nausea. LOL!

But is an interesting view, like an optical illusion :)

These photos are amazing! I never made it into the actual city, just wondered around surrounding parts of Rome!

Thanks Rachel! It’s a shame!! Vatican City is awesome. I didn’t make it to Sistine Chapel because I didn’t have the time. I’m pretty sure I’ll go back to Rome again though (if my wish at Trevi fountain worked).
