Sometimes I wonder where all my time went. It seems like the past 5 years passed by in a flash and I have no idea what I did with it. I do know that I have grown to love many cities and sometimes it feels like home when I visit them again.

My heart has been left in many places and London is one of it. I’ve grown to love the air of history and charm that a modern city like London holds. It only makes it much harder to leave when I have to.

  • Chiffon blouse: Taobao
  • Pants: H&M
  • Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

Apparently I look convincing as a man so I’m really succeeding at this whole androgynous thing. A crisp white shirt is a staple in anyone’s wardrobe, I found this in the Uniqlo’s global flagship store in NYC as I was trying to look for something to buy from the +J collection. Unfortunately I did not bag anything from the +J collection but bought lots of heat tech stuff and a staple white shirt instead. Now add in some anti-wrinkle technology and it would be perfect.

Silver collar necklace is a cheap find from H&M. I love how affordable their accessories are.

I love my recent taobao/Peeka loot which included these garter stockings and the replica Alexander Wang Kristen satchel. It’s pretty decently made as opposed to the other stuff I saw on taobao which are all PU leather.

Barely survived the day with these Theyskens Theory replica. Dawn was on the receiving end of my grumpiness and I ended up buying a new pair of shoes which regrettably made my feet hurt too.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Blazer:  Zara
  • White shirt: Uniqlo
  • Black leatherette skirt:  The Scarlet room
  • Stockings: taobao
  • Bag: Alexander Wang Kristen satchel replica from taobao
  • Shoes: Theyskens Theory replica from taobao
  • Neck collar: H&M

I wonder if anyone would be interested in a white shirt series. Anyone? Anyone?

I have been as productive as Arissa has been unproductive – all in the name of procrastinating writing my essay for as long as possible. I am kind of dreading going back to London – how did time pass so fast anyway?! It feels like I have just been bumming around doing nothing, and suddenly I have to finish an essay and pack for school. I haven’t even eaten enough chicken rice yet.

Went out for brunch at Wild Honey with Fatiha of Heels & Wedges yesterday (thank you so much for the pictures! <3). I had left the bulk of my clothes behind in London so my outfits lean towards the basic. I’m happy to be wearing tall shoes again, though!

Outfit breakdown:

  • Blouse: H&M

  • Inner: H&M

Harsh winter days are spent burrowing myself in the sheets with the laptop to keep the tummy warm. There was also a revelation that radiators are good surfaces for taking photos as illustrated by the Gareth Pugh x MAC post.

Besides makeup, I ended up taking photos of the shoes I brought along for the trip and some photos of bags, jackets and accessories.

Seems like the shoes were arranged in order of comfort. I kid, the dsquared reps are actually more comfortable than the Theyskens Theory reps.

My buttery soft lambskin bag is one of the lightest bags I own, it’s useful cause I tend to bring too much stuff out and despite that, it won’t give me much of a shoulder ache. I’ve had bags that are heavy on its own and I tend not to bring them out too often.

A clear favorite, my Datya leather jacket from All Saints. Kept me warm for a few winters now.

This H&M jacket is also one of my favorite to wear. It’s so smart-looking and I’m glad I got Dawn to buy it for me in London.

Pretty glad it was a productive day despite choosing to stay in.

The girls of Pixiekrane are over in London for a trip, and I took the opportunity to shamelessly invite myself to hang out with them one afternoon. If you are reading this: Thanks for putting up with me, and for the lovely pictures!

We met up in Holborn for lunch. I really like the area for some reason – you can easily head from there to soho for food, or to St. Paul’s for shopping. I much prefer this to the crush that is Oxford street 90% of the time.

The weather’s really starting to bite as we slowly edge out of autumn and into winter… Arissa gave me this cape when we met up in Paris, and I can’t stop wearing it! <3 It’s definitely not warm enough on its own, but it’s perfect when thrown over a leather jacket. Speaking of which, I’ve taken to abusing layering my clothes – I remember distinctly how my friend compared me to a cabbage when I was taking off my coat(s) indoors.

I like how unapologetically clunky these boots look. They are also really wide at the base, and remind me of hooves sometimes. Ultimate man-repeller boots.

Outfit breakdown:

  • Cape: m)phosis
  • Leather jacket (worn inside): All Saints
  • Cardigan (worn inside): All Saints
  • Skirt: m)phosis
  • Boots: Ann Demeulemeester
  • Accessories: Alexander McQueen

P.S. I will briefly be home in Singapore around mid December! I can’t wait to inhale all the food I’ve been craving since moving here. Chicken rice and nasi lemak! And 24hr McDelivery!
