Holy cow, it has been (almost) exactly a month since the last update, and probably over 3 since mine. I’m finally back in Singapore for Christmas – looking to spend some quality time with friends and family at home! Hopefully I can use some of this downtime to do up a few posts, but editing pictures on the MacBook Air is harder than I thought. This ‘packing light’ thing really isn’t working out for me.

Here are some pictures taken when I was in Denmark again this October. Denmark is one country I find myself visiting repeatedly, Copenhagen is just such a nice, laid back city with an amazing night life.

I love these boots I got from All Saints. It’s made of buttery lambskin and so awfully comfy!

Outfit breakdown:

  • Coat: Zara
  • Skirt: Gina Tricot
  • Hat: Murua
  • Boots: All Saints
  • Necklace: Zara
  • Bag: Balenciaga
  • Accessories: Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen

Instagram is really like the fast food of travel photography. It is convenient, quick, and satisfying. It is by no means an adequate replacement for photos of course, but the little bites are easy to handle when you are on the go, not unlike a convenience store onigiri.

I got my iPhone literally hours before I was scheduled to leave for Japan – I think this haste is partially attributed to the beautiful photos Arissa took with hers whilst in Italy . And let’s be honest –  after being a BB user for over 2 years, I was ready to trash that brick.

Spent a week travelling around Hokkaido, Japan. While I love the tranquility of mountains and vast fields of the countryside, I found myself wishing for some of the big city bustle after a couple of days. Sapporo was a welcomed break with its busy nightlife and shopping!

Visiting Italy was a true test of my ability to dress for summer. In Singapore it’s humid and hot but you hardly feel the heat of a thousand burning suns on your skin as much as in Italy. It was vital that I was wearing something that covers my skin but doesn’t stick to it. I was lucky to have packed a loose cardigan along for the trip.

Remember to keep those questions coming on Formspring and follow Dawn (@propatriamori)  and I (@minicloud) on Instagram!!

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Camisole: H&M
  • Skirt: H&M
  • Cardigan: Dongdaemun, Korea
  • Belt: m)phosis

I’m back from Italy!! Between procrastination and jet-lag, it seems like I have raked up quite a bit of backlog here.

For those who don’t have us on Twitter, I was in Italy for about 10days. Our first stop was Rome and we headed down to Vatican city to visit the Vatican Museum and St. Peter Basilica.

I’ve been wearing the Helmut Lang asymmetrical bra top to death lately, it’s a perfect layering piece to protect my modesty when wearing tops that are cut too low.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Maxi Dress: Shopbop
  • Asymmetrical Bra top: Helmut Lang
  • Necklace: Studio Alta, Shinjuku
