I’m totally with Dawn when she says that once she’s into a certain fashion item, she would buy several variations of it. I’m no different. I’ve been really obsessed with wrist cuffs lately and I have been buying so many of it!

Clockwise from bottom:

  • Hermes lookalike cuff with pyramid stud detail: Taobao
  • Silver ladder cuff: m)phosis
  • Leather cuff with magnetic clasp: H&M
  • Silver Cuffs liken to the ones from Celine: Schwing Schwing
  • Black leather cuff: H&M

All these were bought within the span of 2 weeks. Someone stop me from buying more already!!

Outfit Post: A walk down the Orchard [Black Outfits]

I’ve basically given up talking about the weather in my outfit posts. It’s always hot and humid in Singapore anyway. I think it’s really hard to try and dress up in this weather that’s why most Singaporeans stick to the national uniform of slacks and slippers.

I’m wearing the DIY Miu Miu-inspired collared chain necklace as featured in our DIY post. I might try other coordination options, I don’t think this is the best one. I think it might look better with a jacket that has lapels.

Just bought the leather thorn bracelet while out shopping that day. I decided to wear it immediately after paying for it! I think it’s a knockoff of the Ann Demeulemeester thorn bracelet, upon close inspection, there is actually a tiny silver ring with “Ann Demeulemeester” engraved on it. Woah, they really go to such lengths to replicate these things.

Outfit Post: View of Silence [Black Outfits]

Obviously I have been following in Dawn’s footsteps of naming posts under random music that pops up on my iTunes. And living on a healthy dosage of game/anime soundtrack, this is what it decided to bestow upon me.

I remember it was a particularly uninspiring day, with Dawn and I hanging at the rooftop like a bunch of hobos where I took one of my favorite pictures, Darkness of the Unknown. Unfortunately for us, the sky wasn’t nearly as dramatic and we just seemed to be overall out of brainjuice.

The first pic was an accidental shot by the way. Dawn was just snapping away while i moved around and it looked like something we could use. I’m upset to say that I didn’t manage to return the favor by getting any good photos of her on that day. :<

I had this skirt from Schwing Schwing (a local blogshop) for the longest time and it was modeled after the Maison Martin Margiela skirt made famous by Geraldine Saglio where she was shot and featured on JAK&JILL.

It was a tad painful to wear cause the zipper teeth would bite into my ass and thighs when I sit down. That, or my problem is the fat ass. :< But it’s still one of my favorite skirts to wear cause it looks good plus it’s really versatile. *sigh* The things we do in the name of fashion.
