Outfit Post: Tokyo Wanderer [Black Outfit Ideas]

Pardon me for another one of those “one photo outfit posts”. I wish I had a travelling photographer with me all the time, but truth of the matter is, I don’t. As it is, I’m just really really grateful for someone who can aim and use a DSLR.

 

The Complex Geometries Mega Hose (which I got for a steal), slips down when I walk about. I was arranging it in a purposeful manner but within 10mins of getting out of the room, everything is wonky. It bunches up below my knees and at my ankles, I wish there was some way to make it stay in the manner which I arranged it in.

These boots make my feet look biggggg. T____T

Also, I loved the camera that was used to take this photo so much that I’ve decided to get it for myself too. The size is a huge plus since it’s really much more portable than my DSLR. A post on this soon!

Outfit Post: Tokyo Ninja [Black Outfits]

Been long since we had a decent outfit post trying to feature Singapore Streetstyle. I blame it on the lack of inspiration. : (

As usual, there’s an extensive amount of traveling due to work (do not want!!!)  but luckily I ended up in Tokyo before the New Year.

It’s a little chilly but I love the sun even if it starts setting at 430pm.

I can’t believe I actually didn’t do much shopping here. I had expected myself to go really crazy here as I haven’t visited since summer. My lovely leather jacket finally makes a debut here. I’ve been dying to wear it out but it’s crazy to don a leather jacket in Singapore. I’m also wearing the +J for Uniqlo shift dress which I bought in London a few months back, it’s been worn a few times but I never had the chance to photograph it properly. Was looking forward to the launch of the +J for Uniqlo collection in Singapore (about time~!!!) but it seems they don’t carry a lot of the pieces that I liked.

Another one of those outfit posts.

The glasses are for an extra geekiness because we know g33ks rule the world. I love how this top makes me look as though I have a cape. I would pretend to be the world’s most awesome spy with this outfit. Ignore my exceedingly large bicep, I know I look like a man.

Nothing much, it was a pretty lazy day and I simply threw stuff on to go out.

We went out shopping in Shinjuku, Tokyo. They actually shut down the roads. It’s pretty surreal, seeing people walk carelessly on the road. Somewhat like… zombies in a post-apocalyptic movie or something.

The weather was getting hotter by the day. I wanted something I could move about in as there was serious shopping to be done.

Harajuku Day out

I was in Tokyo during Golden week this year.

The weather was awesome and perfect for layering unlike the humid weather we usually get back home in Singapore. I have been obsessed with pairing the engineer boots with everything cause they’re so comfortable and versatile.

It seems like everyone and their dog owns a pair of harem pants these days. Singaporean label, M)phosis seems to stock up a fair bit of them coupled with extremely wearable basics.
