We’ve been procrastinating a DIY forever. Coming across all the photos of the beautiful body chains and harnesses made us get our acts together and come up with something for everyone.

We know how expensive these harnesses are online and somehow we think that with a little thought and creativity, you can create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind harness for yourself.

Here are the materials you need:

  • A variety of chains, length is dependent on the design you have in mind. We like to choose heavier chains cause they weigh down on your body instead of shifting around. We like to mix chains too.
  • Craft Pliers
  • Jumps rings
  • Lobster claw clasp
  • Mannequin or someone to do this on

First we make 2 loops of chain, one around the neck and one around the arm.

After that we join the two loops using 2 lengths of chains; one at the shoulder and one would be at the center of your collarbone.

Continue adding in lengths of chain in-between the first 2 length of chains that you have added. To ensure that they look nice, ensure that the spacing in between the chains are even.

Just keep adding~!!

Et Voila~! Make sure you’ve added an opening at the back of the neck with a jump ring and lobster claw clasp.

Here’s the final product! Hope you’ve enjoyed this DIY. :)

Hello friends,

As promised, I have returned with pictures of 2 of our favorite shops we stumbled upon the other day while shopping in Haji Lane.

To the untrained eye, Haji Lane is this nondescript little street hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is filled with much hidden treasures and interesting finds. Do not expect clothes for pretty princesses, we’re talking about clothes akin to a cat’s love for rolling on the pavement and taking in all the grime of the world (yes, I do reference that to Dawn’s cat in case you’re wondering).

First up is Wonderwool~!! Who could resist such a cute name?

Wonderwool offers both new and pre-loved clothes and offers the option for you to bring your lightly worn or new pieces to the store to exchange for store credits. A perfect way to recycle clothes (while getting new ones!!) without actually spending money.

Greetings patient ones~!! I know we’ve been neglecting the DIY section although we KNOW everyone enjoys it. We just couldn’t really find the time to make a decent post cause we had stuff to do. *shifty eyes* BUT FEAR NOT~!! We have an awesome DIY for you to do this weekend~!

We’ll teach you how to make your own Ann Demeulemeester zipper headdress, and an accurate one at that down to the number of zippers and darts because we are -that- anal.

This DIY is a little more high-level than the rest that we have done so please read through every single line of instructions carefullly. I’m also assuming that people who attempt this have a basic knowledge of sewing (ie sewing darts and bias tape).

I find myself in constant awe at the creativity and the seemingly inexhaustible amount of ideas some individuals online have for their DIY projects. (Yes, we know we have kind of been neglecting that section, but let’s leave that for another day…) I stumbled upon (In)decorous Taste a while back and found myself in want of tacky lucite stripper heels. Stripper heels! Withold your judgement, everyone. You might just find yourself enabled by the magic she does to these shoes.

Yes, they are all of the same pair of shoes. If you find yourself in possession of a pair of lucite heels (I won’t ask any questions nor judge), a simple DIY may just transform them from sleazy to stylish.

Above DIYs courtesy of (In)decorous Taste. That site is a goldmine of DIY ideas!

I am in love with this jacket I just purchased in London.

I love that bracelet because it kind of reminds me of ID tags.

And these boots are made for walking and world domination.
