A rather overdue post once again, I’m afraid. This outfit post was taken in Singapore, but I’m already back in London! These pictures make me long for days where I can wear short skirts again without having to layer tights underneath.

Wearing the All Saints Datya jacket. This is the first time I’ve spent so much on a single article of clothing, but I rationalised it by thinking of it as an “investment piece”. It’s simple, well-made, and I can match it with just about anything! I’ve noticed that my closet consists of more and more basics these days. I hope that doesn’t mean I’ve became more boring – it’s just so much easier to throw things together when you are rushing to classes.

Outfit Post: The Day the World Went Away [Black Outfit Ideas]

It’s bittersweet going through these pictures – they remind me of the lovely time I had with Arissa in Paris, but I can’t help moping over the fact that I wouldn’t see her again till Summer simultaneously. Paris is a beautiful city, but I believe it was made even more wonderful by simply being able to share the experience with her. There are times when you really wished that the world would stand still for just a while longer.

Part of Inception was filmed at Pont de Bir-Hakeim, and we were really excited when we came across it while strolling around the Eiffel tower. :D

Sorry for the lack of updates on my part. Now that school has started full swing, I barely have enough time to go out, let alone find anyone to take pictures of my outfits. So all I have for now are shots taken in and around my little hole here in London.

L-R D&G, Vestiges, Ann Demeulemeester, H&M.

This alexander wang inspired clutch is actually really practical for school! It’s big enough for lecture pads and my iPad, which I store all my readings in.

Tiny, tiny closet. Most the the things I’ve hung up are coats, jackets, dresses and blouses. Skirts and tops have been relegated to drawers and shelves.

Snagged this cape/blazer for 70% off. I swear hunting for good bargains releases an amazing amount of endorphins.

This has pretty much been my “uniform” lately – tank top tucked into a skirt, with a jacket thrown over everything.

Outfit Post: Co●los●seum [Black Outfit Ideas]

Ah, the Colosseum! I can’t stress enough how much I’ve wanted to visit Rome and the Colosseum is definitely one of the places I needed to cross out on my “list of places to visit before I die”.

It took 45mins before we could get tickets into the Colosseum but it was a breathtaking sight.

Most of the time I was just wedged in between a lot of tourists trying to get a good shot of the place. Thank god for my wide angle lens though, it really does show the awesomeness of the structure.

It was really hot but I felt that I needed something to cover my shoulders at the risk of getting sunburn (cue: Phuket in April 2011).

I definitely come back here. I hope the wish at Trevi Fountain works!
