Sometimes, online shopping can be detrimental to health. Browsing online shops inspired me to come up with a list of 5 shoes to covet. I’m pretty sure most of these shoes are coveted by fashion bloggers everywhere but either way, let’s sit back and enjoy these beauties.

Here’s the list of 5 dream shoes to covet (from top left):

  1. Giuseppe Zanotti black leather zip detail platform boots : Zipper details are always very much loved.
  2. Dsquared Nappa Spine Heel ankle boots: This pair of shoes has fashion bloggers all over the world hankering after this, what can I say? What’s there not to covet?
  3. Alexander McQueen canvas and leather peep toe boots: This reminds me much of the Freja boots from Alexander Wang. Love the skull zipper head.
  4. Acne Admire Platform booties: Another pair of “IT” shoes for this season. I’d get myself a pair of these any day if I have extra cash.
  5. Trippen “Fancy” sandals: I am really loving the sole cause of the Geta げた details, the Japanese influence in this pair of shoes will definitely make heads turn when worn.

What are the shoes that you are coveting at the moment?

Taken when I was in Hong Kong sometime in March this year. I know the title isn’t terribly imaginative, but at least I am still keeping with the tradition of naming all the outfit posts after songs on my iTunes!

Black Outfit breakdown:

  • Dress: Mongkok, Hong Kong
  • Jacket: Zara, London
  • Harness: Mongkok, Hong Kong
  • Shoes: Primark

I figured it would be a good time now to blog a little more in-depth about the places we travel to. After all, June is the peak holiday season and so many people are heaving off for a holiday! Unfortunately I will be grounded in Singapore for quite a while.

Generally speaking, shopping in Hong Kong isn’t as cheap as China or Taiwan, and it can get really confusing and disorientating after a while because of the way the malls are laid out. However, Hong Kong is an amazing place to purchase authentic designer duds. Summer sales in Hong Kong really do take a pretty chunk off brands like Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. Furthermore, Hong Kong houses many brands not available in the region. There is a couple of Vivienne Westwood boutiques there, and guerrilla stores houses brands such as Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Maison Martin Margiela and Acne amongst a few.

That said, should any of you have questions about places we have travelled to, please feel free to email us or head over to our formspring. While we are not a travel blog, we are still able to dish out a tip or two with regards to shopping. We are always eager to share where we get our loots from!

The famous Sleeping Beauty castle of Disney was inspired by this real life castle built by King Ludwig II in the 19th century as a tribute to Richard Wagner. It’s just 2 hours away from Munich by train and promises a picturesque scenery on the way there.

The many murals in Neuschwanstein are scenes from many of Richard Wagner’s plays. You might be familiar with works such as “Tristan and Isolde” and “Parsifal”. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed within castle walls, but let’s go on this beautiful adventure together shall we?

The weather was beautiful. I consider myself lucky since it was raining the day before and after. It contributed to a much more magical fairytale experience.

Photos are allowed when you’re taking photos outside of the castle windows. Weird logic but as long as it’s allowed. The castle windows provide an excellent view of the mountains.

German sausages. Yum.

Decided to go with a more casual outfit since there’s some form of hiking involved. My travelling companions thought I was very brave to wear something with heels.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • White Shift dress: Dong Dae Mun, Korea
  • Grey Cardigan: Dong Dae Mun, Korea
  • Felt cutout necklace: Doota, Korea
  • Boots: Esperanza

The last time I was in London with Dawn, we were too preoccupied to actually have any photos taken.

This time, I had the chance to meet up with Jingna in London. Both of us have a penchant for meeting overseas instead of back home in Singapore. So far we’ve covered Tokyo, Beijing, New York and London. I’m excited to know where we’ll be meeting next.

I took her to Liberty near Oxford Circus to drool over the Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owens, Acne and Helmut Lang that they have there. Ah, I wish I could afford them all. She was pretty smitten with my leather jacket and was surprised to know that I got it from All Saints which was based in London. So we went on a pilgrimage to find it in the size and colour she wants. We went to a total of 3 stores but found it eventually. It’s a lovely piece and I absolutely love the drapes.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Leather Jacket: All Saints
  • White draped jersey top: random store in Doota, Dong Dae Mun (Seoul, Korea)
  • Leggings with leather panel detail: Nasty Girl
  • Boots: Esperanza
  • Bag: random bag store in Studio Alta (Shinjuku, Tokyo)

Photos taken by the lovely zemotion ala Jingna. In case you don’t already know her awesomeness, you can visit her website and blog.

I am usually not a fan of cropped jackets, but this was on sale for £6 and I am a cheap bastard.
