I’ve been watching Skins since it aired in Australia about 2yrs ago. I was lucky enough to catch the first episode on TV cause I don’t normally switch it on and I usually have a short attention span.
I was hooked. It was not your normal Hollywood teenage drama where everyone’s perfect looking. I followed it religiously and the one character that has stuck on for all 3 seasons (and they are filming season 4 according to her twitter) I absolutely love her.
Her character in Skins is absolutely magnetic. You are inexplicably drawn to her despite her having minimal lines in Season 1. Season 2 sees more of her views and expressions. Season 3 was a joke to her character if you ask me, they totally destroyed her.
Ok I know I’ve already raved about her in my personal blog but never her as a style inspiration.
Here’s what I’d think she’d wear.
- Loads of accessories. Effy isn’t afraid to load on the chain necklaces and bracelets.
- Engineer boots. But I think these Ann Dems would look fantastic on her
- Shorts and a shredded T or a short tunic dress. because Effy looks awesome baring her legs.

YES. Skins is AWESOME. And I totally agree that Season 3 was quite pathetic. Funny, but after the 1st cast left, it seemed to lack the magic it once did. And effy was way cooler in the first 2 seasons
Love her style (except maybe her too short mini skirts)

I agree~! I really love what she’s done with the eye makeup most of the time. Dark and smokey. Just the way I like it!
