Sometimes I forget what it was like to be in school, rushing out projects and garments. I still remember the sleepless nights the crazy amount of caffeine consumed in a single day and the adrenalin rush every time something gets done on time.
I still sew my own clothes from time to time. Granted right now, there was no one to guide me, no one to tell me if I’m doing something wrong, no one to tell me if they think it is nice or feasible.
I miss being in school and being told what to do.
Sometimes I’m masochistic like that. :/

I miss being in school too…
Self-discipline is easier said than done ._.

yes, I agree. It’s just so hard to get over the inertia.

As an artist I myself struggle with being lazy,(inertia, self-discipline), I’m not making light of the comments, just pointing out that I can relate to what is being typed. But as artists we really don’t need school, just being passionate about our own art, u say u need direction, turn to freelance for deadlines and pickiness, art school was fun because of the social stimulation along with everyone else being creative it was sort of like it’s own motivational tool. Your sketches show excellent draftsmanship, it’s not wrong if u like it, get passionate.

Hi Douglas, Thank you very much for your compliments. I agree to a certain extend about artists not needing school, but I guess once in a while, I enjoy being told what to do… and then rebel against it.
