My obsession with these shoes will never cease, this is easily marked by the fact that I bought two of them, although one pair died after serving me for 2 years. They are easily one of my top favorite and I rave about them every time I post an outfit post wearing them.

The chiffon overlay dress is a new piece from taobao which make me border on indecency and modesty whenever there’s a gust of wind. Which reminds me, how do you guys like my sad excuse of a GIF? I tried pretty hard to make it loop properly but it seems like I’ll need more practice.

Black Outfit Breakdown

  • Chiffon Dress: Taobao
  • Skirt: Schwing Schwing
  • Camisole: H&M
  • Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell for LF stores
  • Leather Harness: AudraJean on Etsy

I often wonder if it’s just girls who wear the clothes and accessories immediately after they bought it. I’m showcasing my spoils from the Fashion Blogger flea the day after. I’m quite late to blog this, I know but I’m really buzzing with excitement for the next one we are planning!

The dress is from Lucyd Acyd which I got from Venetia FOR A STEAL.  I had initially seen the white version being sold by Vanessa but was apprehensive cause it’s not black. The black version is my reward for patience! The barb wire leather bracelet (actually a necklace) was shamelessly declared mine kindly given to me as a free gift!

Incidentally, I’m wearing not just one but TWO of our DIYs out that day. I was complaining to Dawn and Jayden during lunch that the exposed side of my body is really cold from the body harness. I usually use the transparent clutch as a cover for my Wacom tablet to prevent scratches to the surface but it’s a great size for a lunch date.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Dress: Lucyd Acyd
  • Transparent ClutchDIY
  • Body Chain Harness: DIY
  • Shoes: taobao
  • Stockings: a gift from Dawn (from Hokkaido)

Attended the NARS launch at ArtScience Museum a few days back. It’s really great to see that Singapore is starting to have more and more museums! If only we have one for fashion or Natural History.

The day was brutally hot – notice how there isn’t even a single cloud in the sky. I kind of give a condescending snort whenever someone talks about how hot it is back in London. The weather here has made me thankful of my skin which tans easily but never burns.

This pair of Elizabeth & James wedges (c/o Shopbop) is seriously my most comfortable pair of heels. I can literally last the whole day in them without the slightest bit of discomfort.

I really like the detail on the side of this dress. Sometimes all you need is one thing to spice up the entire outfit.

P.S. You may have already noticed this in our previous posts, but for those who don’t: you can now mouse over some of our pictures for something extra.
Outfit Breakdown:

  • Jacket: Zara (conveniently borrowed off Arissa because I left mine at home)
  • Dress: m)phosis
  • Bag: Mulberry
  • Shoes: Elizabeth & James

Lastly, we wish all of you selemat hari raya aildilfitri! May you spend it joyfully with your loved ones.

Now I know these probably aren’t the best of pictures as they are taken using my iPhone but I hope it gives you a peek into what happened during the Singapore fashion bloggers’ flea that happened a few weeks ago.

For those of you who couldn’t make it, I must say that you’ve really missed out on quite a number of bargains that day. At one point of time, the room was filled with so many people and I had to give Dawn a “is-this-really-happening” look. We cannot express how grateful we are for the people who came down to support the event despite the last-minute-ness of it all. To the people who brought their own shopping bags as well, Mother Earth thanks you!

We will be organising another one during Nov/Dec, do keep your eyes peeled for more news. :)

I went on a holiday to Japan a while back, but since it was with family I did not get the opportunity to really take outfit pictures! We have to wake up ridiculously early each day anyway, so I was dressed rather sloppily casual most of the time. Contrary to what I’d like people to believe, I have days where I just can’t be arsed to think of what to wear. My primary objective of getting dress on those days is to simply not appear indecently in public and turn onlookers to stone.
