An outfit post from the day we visited K.ki!

Short hair has been pretty hard to manage since it’s kinda flippy when I have a bad hair day. Having long hair for a good 8 years also means I’ve forgotten how unruly it can be. Also, cause it’s fine, my hair tends to go flat easily in this humid weather.

I also mourn for these pair of boots cause I totally wrecked the lining while wearing it. The lambskin is so soft but oh-so-fragile too. Guess it’ll be the last time we’re seeing them. Adieu, my lovelies.

Black outfit breakdown:

  • Faux leather harness: Haji Lane
  • Chiffon top with frills: Bugis Village
  • Jeans: H&M
  • Boots: Jeffrey Campbell

    Hi there :)

Have been a silent avid reader in your blogposts and really loved the styles that both of you featured. Looking at the H&M outfits you gals worn made me crave for them to land in Singapore sooner X( Really loved the harness belt and have been looking for it too. Would you mind sharing where you got it?

    Many thanks~ :)

    Cheers

    Hi!

Thanks for dropping a comment and breaking silence! πŸ˜€
i got the harness from Far East Plaza. One of those shops selling loads of belts and accessories. I don’t remember the name of the shop though.

Thanks so much for the tip off Arissa :) At least i could narrow down my search to FEP πŸ˜€ Could kinda relate your style to http://www.oaknyc.com/. The clothes and accessories they carry are just gorgeous~ too pricey for me.. but their looks and editorials never fail to inspire :) Would kill for the shoes there too lolz :p

ah~ I love Oak. I remember bringing a good friend down (http://zhangjingna.com) when we were in NYC and I practically made her buy a 5th Avenue Shoe repair dress and she ended up really loving it.

I love the clothes there too but if I had to really narrow it down to the brands they carry, I much preferred buying from Complex Geometries more cause their clothes are much more unique.

Aww, thank you for taking the time to comment Stella!

And thanks for the compliments. I’ve been loving the convenience that comes with short hair. Only woe so far is when I wake up with horrible bed head.

Thanks Phoebe! Well at least you can style long hair more easily but I guess most girls have long hair these days so short hair can be really refreshing. :)

Love the look – and I think you rock the short hair! How’d you wreck the boots exactly? I have the same ones and I’ve been dying to share them, but I’m always so afraid of wrecking them because they’re my favorites!

well the lambskin was very fragile and I ripped the inner lining while wearing it. :(
