Met up with Dawn 2 weekends ago in Amsterdam and decided to be really brave and bring these new McQueen knockoffs from taobao out for a spin. They were bought a few months ago and I would really love to include the link here but it seems that it has already been taken off since the sellers are moving into Spring/summer wear right now. I’ve gotten so many compliments that day and even had a salesgirl from Bobbi Brown telling me how much she needed them in her life.
The lighting wasn’t great due to the gloomy weather but it did manage to produce some hauntingly eerie effect in some photos.
And for obvious reasons, that is why they have windmills in Netherlands. My complex geometries vest was flapping all over the place. It was hard to keep a straight face while the hood isn’t staying where it’s supposed to be.
It’s also the last time I’ll be travelling for a while. I haven’t been able to find anyone who shares the same aesthetics as much as Dawn does and it’s really sad that I won’t be seeing her for a while.

I never get tired looking thru your blog, and it just gets better and better! Your theme is just so “Haute Goth”, completely right up my alley. I especially adore this photo set and Dawn’s latest one. They’re the most haunting and picturesque shots taken. Love, love, love the moody ambiance, tone, and expression.
