Dawn and I were exploring Ann Siang Hill, a snazzy little area in Singapore with plenty of little cafes and eateries. We went into one called K.ki (ケーキ) which means “cake” in Japanese. The cakes are so good that they get sold out really easily.
We got a pot of Earl Grey (my favorite!!) to go with the cakes.
The milk for the tea came in a cute conical flask. I’m always a sucker for chemistry apparatus-like kitchen glassware.
I ordered the Mont Blanc which is french chestnut paste with fresh cream center. The best one I’ve had was in Tokyo, this one comes pretty close.
Dawn got the Antoinette which is a white chocolate mousse cake with a mango center.
We have the Little Drom store behind me which sells lot of little knick-knacks and some old cameras. If you like the old Polaroids, this is the place to get it. I’ve been dying to get my hands on the SX-70. They have it here though I’m not really sure how much they cost.
