The ArtScience Museum in Singapore has an artifact exhibition going on now and I finally had the time to check it out. It will be the 100th year anniversary since the sinking of the Titanic come April. If you have the time, I would highly recommend checking it out.

They gave out these boarding passes when you enter the exhibition. At the back of it contains information of an actual passenger of the Titanic in 1912. At the end of the exhibition, there is a board which lists the name of all the passengers on board the Titanic and whether they survived the sinking or not. My boyfriend had Guggenheim and mine was Mrs Helen Dickinson.

I got the Anve Saco de Papel earlier last year but never had the chance to really feature it. It’s made out of a beautiful piece of leather and is so soft to touch. It’s also really versatile and spacious.

I got a Coach Pill box recently to contain my supplements! I think it looks nicer than the regular plastic type.

What’s in my bag

  • Bag: Saco de papel from ANVE
  • Wallet: Louis Vuitton
  • Phones: iPhone 4S and Blackberry 9870
  • Pill Box: Coach
  • Umbrella: Unknown

I had my hair dyed! This is probably news to people who aren’t following our twitter. These were taken last week and by now it has faded to an unrecognizable rusty cherry red. Actually, I have no idea how to describe the colour right now.

Met up with Venetia for tea and also dinner. These photos were also taken by her! I’m so glad there’s someone to take photos for me when Dawn is not around.

This outfit also makes up part of the “White shirt series“, this time paired up with a shredded T-shirt and skirt.

My Country Road bag which has my Cheap Monday sunglasses hanging precariously on the handle.

These awesome Dsquared skate moss shoes were featured in the recent purchases post. It’s the first time I’m wearing them out cause Venetia requested to see them after I posted them on Instagram.

Black Outfit Breakdown

  • Skirt with zipper detail: Schwing Schwing
  • White shirt: Uniqlo
  • T-shirt: DIY
  • Bag: Country Road
  • Shoes: Dsquared

If anything, I would wanna be known as the friend who has the most awesome shoes. New to the collection is a pair of shoes that was a lucky find in Amsterdam while I was out shopping with Dawn.

We chanced upon their winter sale season (which is really late considering how London usually has theirs in January) and there, these pair of shoes were, tucked right at the far right corner. Hovering above it was a neon pink sign which said “70% off”. My hands picked up these seemingly normal pair of booties until I felt some cold metal at the base.

It took me a few seconds to register it and when I did, I showed it to Dawn and there was probably some squealing involved. You know one of those things that helps you decide if you should seal the deal immediately?

The magic combination is usually “They’re the last pair.” and “It’s in my size!!!!!”

You know what happens next.

I love shoes that boggles people’s mind.

I got these Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalks when they had first came up. One thing to bear in mind, if that initial release is popular, you can count on the fact that JC will release at least 6 other shoes with the same shoe last but in different designs/fabrics. I lost count of the Nightwalk variations that they had released.

These are a pair of my older shoes but was never featured. The Topshop Wisteria. Extremely comfortable pair of shoes I would actually be okay partying in them.

Which are your favorite shoes at the moment?

*omake (oh-mah-kay) : おまけ or extra.

If there was a competition for the “Worst puns in a blog post title”, I would win hands-down. In light of our location, I wish tottering around in heels in Dam square could top as one of my special abilities in a resume. Alas, these skills I possess brings no merit to anyone.

Spotting an awful cold the day we shot this. Funny story actually, you can truly tell when a person is so comfortable with the cleanliness and lack of potholes in Singapore (despite the amount of annual rainfall we get) when you get splashed by puddle water from an incoming car in Amsterdam.  For that, I got a cold and looked absolutely divine the next day.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve worn the scarlet room’s draped dress. It’s definitely one of my favorite pieces in the wardrobe. I really hope it won’t fall apart on me considering how much wear I get out of it.

Amsterdam still proves its charm in such gloom. I only hope to be able to visit again.

Met up with Dawn 2 weekends ago in Amsterdam and decided to be really brave and bring these new McQueen knockoffs from taobao out for a spin. They were bought a few months ago and I would really love to include the link here but it seems that it has already been taken off since the sellers are moving into Spring/summer wear right now. I’ve gotten so many compliments that day and even had a salesgirl from Bobbi Brown telling me how much she needed them in her life.

The lighting wasn’t great due to the gloomy weather but it did manage to produce some hauntingly eerie effect in some photos.

And for obvious reasons, that is why they have windmills in Netherlands. My complex geometries vest was flapping all over the place. It was hard to keep a straight face while the hood isn’t staying where it’s supposed to be.

It’s also the last time I’ll be travelling for a while. I haven’t been able to find anyone who shares the same aesthetics as much as Dawn does and it’s really sad that I won’t be seeing her for a while.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Pants: H&M
  • Leather Jacket (worn inside): All Saints Datya Jacket
  • Vest: Complex Geometries A/W 2010
  • Gloves: Lanvin
  • Leather Tote bag: Taobao
  • McQueen replica boots: Taobao
