When I saw this collection, an infinite possibility of DIY projects just hit me like a bus.

First it’s those feathered headbands.Ann_dem_winged_329

It retails at Luisaviaroma for a whopping € 329.17.

I’m going to try and make one for less than 1/10 of that price. Sorry Ann D, I’m a fan but paying that much for feathers and wires is just not what I would do.

Anyway, ONWARD to the runway.

00290mThe deconstructed jackets and drapey shirts are signatures of Ann Demeulemeester. I just love how she delivers something interesting and new every season despite sticking to monochrome colours.

The leather corset with the hanging buckles resemble ribcages and is absolutely drool-worthy.
Cropped boleros are embellished with tens of little bells taking a twist to the current trend of adding silverwear like studs to clothing and shoes.

Her collections never fail to make me writhe in dismay that I may never afford them. It’s on to the drawing board to figure them out now.
