Outfit Post: The last story [Black Outfit Ideas]

Met up with Dawn 2 weekends ago in Amsterdam and decided to be really brave and bring these new McQueen knockoffs from taobao out for a spin. They were bought a few months ago and I would really love to include the link here but it seems that it has already been taken off since the sellers are moving into Spring/summer wear right now. I’ve gotten so many compliments that day and even had a salesgirl from Bobbi Brown telling me how much she needed them in her life.

The lighting wasn’t great due to the gloomy weather but it did manage to produce some hauntingly eerie effect in some photos.

And for obvious reasons, that is why they have windmills in Netherlands. My complex geometries vest was flapping all over the place. It was hard to keep a straight face while the hood isn’t staying where it’s supposed to be.

It’s also the last time I’ll be travelling for a while. I haven’t been able to find anyone who shares the same aesthetics as much as Dawn does and it’s really sad that I won’t be seeing her for a while.

Outfit Post: Winter Overture [Black Outfit Ideas]

Visited Amsterdam with Arissa last week. I’m so glad to be able to explore such a beautiful city with her. We were sort of disappointed that the weather was rather uncooperative, being the tail end of winter and all that. But the overcast condition actually produced some good pictures. I’m so going to miss Arissa taking pictures of me, because frankly I don’t think anyone else can top her when it comes to that!

I have been looking for a blouse like this forever, and I’m glad I managed to snag one at Zara. Zara has really stepped up their game lately, and it’s always a struggle not to spend too much money when I walk into a store.

Sometimes I wonder where all my time went. It seems like the past 5 years passed by in a flash and I have no idea what I did with it. I do know that I have grown to love many cities and sometimes it feels like home when I visit them again.

My heart has been left in many places and London is one of it. I’ve grown to love the air of history and charm that a modern city like London holds. It only makes it much harder to leave when I have to.

Runway Review: Jil Sander Men Fall 2012 Closeups

We are a little slow on this cause we’ve been living under a rock we are awesome procrastinators. Allow us to regain our composure while we hyperventilate over these awesome closeups of the Jil Sander Fall 2012 collection.

These paper lunch bags are so awesome I’m going to post 3 photos of it.

I can totally foresee this in many DIY ideas this year.

The design of the other bags are also very appealing and is the perfect epitome of Wall Street chic. Well done Jil Sander.

The leather version totally reminds me of the Anve Saco de papel that I bought some time back.

Outfit Post: Academic Bullsh*t [Black Outfit Ideas]

It seems like the angry winter has come and gone. For a moment, the cold was a little hard to bear but it seems that it got even colder in London after I left that week. I’m pretty glad I didn’t get caught in the big freeze.

These pictures were taken outside the Natural History Museum with Dawn. It’s probably going to be a long long time before I get to go to London again. This coordinate is part of the White shirt series as many have requested for a there to be one after the first post.

I liked the idea of pairing up a shirt with a nice shift dress for a preppy look. The cutout details on the dress is my favorite in the entire outfit. These Esperanza boots have been with me for at least 3 years now and they’re still one of my most comfortable boots to wear.
