If I have a kryptonite, it’ll be awesome shoes followed closely by leather accessories. Fleet Ilya does really well at evoking the dungeon mistress in all of us with their Spring/Summer belt collection. I can’t help clawing at the screen while looking at these pictures while chanting “I wanttttt…. I wanttttt…..”.

The cage underbust corset catches my fancy and I can see so many possibilities with my wardrobe. Sponsors anyone?

The weather is finally taking a turn for a warmer! Perhaps this is what prompted my scarf spree last weekend…or perhaps it’s just my rampant consumerism.

Silk scarves are really perfect for this weather right now. They keep the wind out without stifling you. I’m constantly looking for different ways to wear them.

This scarf (fleurs d’hiver) in particular is my favourite. The tiny animals adorning the border are just too adorable!

Clockwise from top: fleurs d’hiver, les clefs, selles a housse from Hermès.

Some clothes need to come with instructional booklets. This Ann Demeulemeester vest been in my possession since 2009 but I still have no idea how to wear it the way the designer intended it to be worn. I just throw it up, let it land on me and tie the strings together. True story.

The goal of the day was to channel some Ann.D with the asymmetrical skirt (circa s/s 2010) and Ann.D lookalike sandal boots from Jeffrey Campbell which is still one of my favorite pair of shoes to date. This pair is in fact my second pair (yes, I bought 2 of the same pair of shoes) cause I wore the first one to death. Let’s hope this pair will last me a couple more years.

I have to admit I was feeling pretty great about the outfit until I saw the photos, I think looked really stumpy. I also hope no one thought I was trying to pull a Jolie that day. Higher heels should fix the stumpy leg problem I hope. My boyfriend has also done me a great favor by keeping my face out of focus, he seems to reallllllly like my Helmut Lang top and necklace (I see what you did there.)

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Asymmetrical Bra top: Helmut Lang
  • Draped Vest: Ann Demeulemeester
  • Asymmetrical skirt: Taobao
  • Ann Demeulemeester replica shoes: Jeffrey Campbell for LF stores

Sometimes I give myself a pat on the back for having some すばらしい skills at Photoshop. This horrible swollen eye will go unnoticed if I didn’t mention it. That being said, I’m sure at least 20 people are will be scrutinising my picture now.

This lovely organza top is bought by Conan (who will be lovingly known as Coco from now on) when he was sourcing for clothes for a photoshoot. I bought it from him after the shoot. :D

The Icon watch that I bought from MoMA is a replacement for my old one which died (dead pixel geddit geddit?). It’s one of those watches that I don’t mind replacing, the design is simple and worth keeping around.

My lovely shoes modelled with my pageant stance to show how they look like from both the front and side.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Shirt: Uniqlo
  • Organza Top: H&M
  • Jeans: H&M
  • Watch: MoMa design store
  • Shoes: Taobao

Rule No. 1: Never underestimate Scandinavian weather. It was incredibly warm in London, and I was completely caught off-guard by how cold it still was in Denmark when I visited in late March. It was incredibly windy to boot, and the only coat I packed was hopeless at keeping me warm.

Copenhagen is still a beautiful city regardless, and I would really love to go back there again!! This particular outfit isn’t exactly inspiring, but I have more important matters on my mind such as actually keeping my butt from freezing.

Got these boots for just 250DKK at Monki – I really do love shopping there! I really do wish that Cheap Monday / Weekday can be found in more places.

Outfit Breakdown:

  • Trench coat: Zara
  • Bag: Taobao
  • Sunglasses: ASOS
  • Boots: Monki

Anyway, as a final note I’d just like to add that I am finally done with the bulk of my assignments for this semester. It is almost unbelievable that I’ve been here in London for almost an entire academic year already! I will be trying to make up for the long hiatus, and thank you so much for continuing to read this blog!
