Been procrastinating on this set of photos for a while cause it’s the last set of outfit photos I have that’s shot by Dawn. It’s kinda unsettling when the fact hits you like that and we’ve never really discussed how a farewell is going to be like or what is going to become of this blog (both of us didn’t take farewells very well believe me).

And it’s really scary when your best friend leaves, it’s worse than going through a breakup. You automatically assume that you can replace your ex-boyfriend with another one but when it comes to best friends, there is no one that can replace them. Okay, I’m making it sound like Dawn and I have broken up, which isn’t the case but yeah, I miss her.

This is turning out to be a sappy open love letter to Dawn so I should really stop and talk about the outfit instead. :/

This pair of Rick Owens makes my feet hurt like a bitch. I have shoes that are painful to wear but this definitely ranks in like the top 3.

Knuckle rings! I wish I had bought another set for the other hand as well, maybe I should get round to it when I feel like shopping online.

We threw in some leather accents in this outfit. Who says you can’t wear leather in Singapore?

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Asymmetrical tank top: Necessary clothing, NYC
  • Leather shorts: H&M
  • Tights: Topshop
  • Alexander Wang inspired bag: Taobao
  • Shoes: Rick Owens
  • Knuckle rings: ASOS
  • Leather wrist cuffs: H&M

Just a snapshot (near Juicy Couture *gasp*) during the London Fashion’s Night Out. As you can tell, I’m way behind on the blogging schedule.

This is also possibly the most amount of colours you’ll ever see on me. I was deeply in love with the Christopher Kane’s collection of galaxy prints because well, if I had the means, I’d wanna be an astronaut… so I can tweet pictures from outer space. There isn’t a space station in Singapore so you can see why I am not an astronaut. This piece of information totally does not make sense.

Black Outfit Breakdown:

  • Galaxy Print dress: Taobao
  • Pleather panelled legging: Taobao
  • Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell for LF stores
  • Rose thorn leather headband: DIY
  • Bag: H&M
  • Camera: Fujifilm X100

Fashion’s night out was held in London on 8th Sept along with New York. I have more affinity towards New York as it’s a place I’m more familiar with but being in London on this particular night blew me away.

Everyone was dressed to kill and it felt like I was walking down a street where everyone was a model/stylist/designer. The feeling was awesome and I couldn’t have asked for more. My colleague and I were out early. He’s more attuned to the shopping in London so he was the one bringing me around. I visited Dover street market for the first time. I think it’s one of my favorite places to go to now.

Never touching this pair of shoes again, I had glitter stuck to my hands and face after that.

Someone asked me on Formspring what’s the one gadget I cannot live without. I think the answer is quite apparent here.

Wants everything in this display drawer.

Arm candy on my colleague. He’s like my nemesis/kryptonite, bursting with colours! I am insanely jealous of his multiple(!!!) Hermes bracelets.

Dior London cab! One of the many sights to absorb while walking down New Bond Street that night.

I arrived in London on saturday morning and headed for Borough market almost immediately, despite being jetlagged as hell. I’ve been craving oysters ever since I came here last winter! So glad I’ve finally managed to get my fix :9

I think the weather has begun to take a chillier turn here – it’s perfect for wearing jackets and layering! I must say that I’m starting to miss the warmth back in Singapore though. It will no doubt be full blown once winter hits.

Outfit Breakdown:

  • Coat: Taobao
  • Jacket: Topshop
  • Blouse: The Scarlet Room
  • Skirt, Belt: m)phosis
  • Shoes: H&M

Our first picks from Spring/Summer 2012 so far.

All I can think of is how beautifully clean and minimal this is. This is my favorite T by Alexander collection yet. I want to embrace these silhouettes right away. Now, can we just skip over winter this year?
