I can’t help but muse about how funny Fate works. Sometimes it’s as improbable as pouring out puzzle pieces from a pail and have them fit into each other as they hit a surface. But sometimes… something occurs, just like magic.

I had to rave about how lucky I am to have a colleague who is also into photography, one of the rare opportunities when Dawn is not the one taking photos for me and I have an outfit post that is shot overseas.

We’ve had to keep our eyes peeled for each other just in a tram comes along and kills us. I should make a list of silly things I would do for photos. Did I also mention the copious amount of dandelion seeds floating about? I’m pretty sure I ingested quite a bit of those.

Outfit Breakdown:

  • Shirtdress: H&M
  • Jacket: some Online store I don’t remember :/
  • Leggings: Dong Dae Mun, Seoul
  • Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
  • Harness: AudraJean on Etsy.com
  • Clutch Bag: 2% from Far East Plaza

Very special thanks for Dylan Kok for the photos. :D I couldn’t be more grateful for your help.

I can’t resist talking about the weather whenever I post an outfit post, weather’s got everything to do with the choice of garments chosen for the day. But then again, it’s not like Singapore’s weather offers much variation for clothing options.

These days, it seems like my uniform of choice is a long tank top + skinny jeans/leggings. I threw on a jacket cause it seemed like it was going to rain, alas weather forecasting in Singapore appear to be akin to predicting lottery results.

My hair is making me feel less and less like a girl. :/ Probably time to ditch the uniform and wear more skirts and dresses.

Wearing my collection of pyramid studs after neglecting them for so long. I don’t know about you but every time I sit down to eat, I must de-accessorise or I find it cumbersome to eat with all these bracelets on my arms.

And these shoes! I bought them so long ago but never had the chance to snap photos of them when I wear it out. Of course, they’re not really Rick Owens (though I would really hope to own a pair of them) , I bought them from a store in Far East Plaza which seem to have unfortunately closed down.

Black outfit Breakdown:

  • Top: The Scarlet Room
  • Leggings: Dong Dae Mun, Korea
  • Scarf: Topshop
  • Jacket: H&M
  • Bracelets: m)phosis, Phuket night market, random places I don’t remember
  • Rings: m)phosis and snefter on etsy.com
  • Shoes: Some shop in Far East Plaza that has closed down

Sometimes I wonder if I’m the only person with weird habits. Anyone want to share theirs?

I have not found much occasion to wear this blouse, which I bought in London a year ago. It is partly due to the button fastenings at the front.. You’d think someone would put a hidden zipper on this blouse for easy wearing, but hale naw. They gotta torture me with a million tiny buttons. I am also a very clumsy and impatient person, and will inevitably end up attaching the button to the wrong button hole…cue me throwing this blouse away in anger rather than to unbutton the entire thing.

I am sorry for looking so hot…literally. The makeup was practically melting off my face that day.

Outfit Breakdown:

  • Top: Topshop consignment
  • Skirt: m)phosis
  • Tights: China
  • Shoes: China
  • Cuffs: Fürrmuse, Bali

A few miscellaneous picture of our lunch… Rider’s Cafe sure doesn’t skim on their portions! It is really good for people who can inhale the entire universe in one sitting for lunch (i.e. me)

Mushroom soup with white truffle oil. Amazing chunky thick mushroomy goodness, yum.

Schitzel with scallion mash. Everything tastes good mixed in mash – it’s truly a mystery. I am inclined to believe that mash can even make baby puke taste good.

Angus fillet with herb butter. It is a truth universally acknowledged, that the most delicious food must also be the most fattening. I think the salad is just there to act as a placebo in order to not make you feel guilty for consuming an entire day’s worth of calories in one sitting.

Best way to end a meal is with even more carbohydrates. Why is the combination of scones and clotted cream so, so very good? The scones may not be aesthetically pleasing, but mein Gott were they delicious.

Dawn and I went on a crazed Etsy search for accessories and I stumbled upon a site which had pretty neat rings, they were affordable and of decent quality.

I bought something which looked like the YSL arty ring, which I wanted to try on before deciding if I should blow a larger amount on a ring. I don’t think I’m quite suited for it? Maybe I should wear it out more often to let it grow on me first.

The other ring is a horizontal cross knuckle ring, which I had the Forever 21 version in silver.

The rings are from snefter on etsy.com. Do note I am not endorsing them, merely stating where they are from.

I’m still awaiting a ring from another store, I hope it arrives when I’m home.

Remember our previous Moleskine related post about a new collection that was set to be released in April in Milan? It’s finally released!

The bags incorporate the signature elastic design and are even customizable with add-ons.

I have my eye set on the Utility bag and the messenger bag. I might even go for the laptop case. :D
