Recent Purchases: Shoes omg shoes

Okay, it’s not a shoe. But it’s the awesome BuckyBalls!!! It’s rare earth magnets that promises hours of entertainment.

A pair of awesome wedges I bought from Esperanza in Tokyo. I was shopping in Shinjuku during Valentine’s Day and I thought I should buy myself something. The architectural lines that makes up the heel makes this pair of wedges my favorite one right now. Plus points for being comfortable too.

I would link to their online site but they still don’t have these shoes. I’ll link an Acne knock-off then.

Hannah Loafers from Alexander Wang which I have been eye-ing for the longest time. Imagine my joy when it was on sale on the Opening Ceremony. Not the most comfortable shoes though. I think the pain level is comparable to my Acne Atacomas.

Hairband and studded belt from m)phosis. I swear m)phosis is great for buying accessories during their sale. The belt costs me like 10bucks and the hairband was $3.20?

Pray for Japan

This is really one of those times when words are inadequate to describe what is happening. It is chilling to see the death toll creeping higher by the hour, and I can’t even begin to imagine the helplessness of those whose friends and family remain missing. For those who believe in a higher power, please pray for the safety of everyone, and pray that the dead may rest in peace. Pray that families may be reunited and that the situation doesn’t get worse.

No one is above helping those in need. I am not yet able to find any call for donations or volunteers in Singapore but I will definitely be updating this space should I find any. If you are not in a position to help financially, there might be other ways such as donating blood or plasma. I can only ask everyone to give freely what they can, and we will be doing the same.

Since I had a shoe porn post, I thought I might add in a shot of my accessories. It’s not all of it. Just a teaser of some bracelets (which I have too much of). I need more rings.

I really big on notebooks, especially Moleskines (and my Fashionary notebook). I’ve been known to carry out more than 3 Moleskine notebooks at one go. It’s really a useful tool for noting down ideas and things that need to be done.

Imagine my joy when they decided it’s time to come up with a collection of accompanying accessories for your Moleskine.

I am especially interested in the bags as I’ve been looking for one that can contain my laptop and camera when I’m travelling.

I am very much addicted to GongCha.

Polka dotted skirt from m)phosis. It isn’t easy to find skirts that fits me without being too short or flared. Ribbon tights from Miss Selfridge.
