The sunset in Mykonos, Greece is insanely beautiful. And what kind of a camwhore would I be if I didn’t take the opportunity to take some photos?

I was fortunate enough to have spent the weekend in Mykonos, Greece. One of the beautiful islands blessed by the awesome Mediterranean sun.

It has always been my dream to visit Greece, the sun, skies and sea proved it to be a dream indeed. I was moved to tears by its beauty, closing my eyes and letting the wind caress my skin while listening to waves.

[I am alive]

The heat calls for a dress-down and a break from the usual monochromatic colours.

There’s no denying it. Thigh high boots are awesome even if they border on being somewhat of a footwear belonging to a hooker’s wardrobe. They’re sexy and they draw attention and this Fall, we’re seeing it all over the runway.

Here are some of my favorites:

These are classy and stylish looking thigh highs. I think they’d go with a variety of looks.

I absolutely love the garters that are holding them up. I am contemplating a DIY just to make some garters for my thigh high boots.

I would absolutely die for these. They fit on the models like a dream and straps wound around the entire leg, yes please~!!!!

These are some interesting looking ones with minimal detailing but the ruffle at the thigh area is much love.

Rick owens

These boots boggle my mind. I have no idea how they are contructed it just seems to go against the laws of nature but man… I want them so.

And catching on this thigh high boots trend, I scored myself a pair of awesome thigh high boots from Zara. Extremely unlikely as I was walking pass the Zara in Oxford Street, London. My eyes caught a pair of thigh high boots, dragged the store assistant outside, pointed at them and said : ” I would like these please.”

Next thing I know, I was in the queue paying for them. It’s absolutely crazy trying to attempt to wear them in Singapore. I look forward to Fall/Winter when I can fnally show them off~!!!

Where do I begin? Here at Monoxious, we wear any colour as long as it’s black, white or grey.

This collection has successfully set me on a course to locate the perfect pair of skinny black pants/jeans.

The silhouette is clean and I love the drapey looking jackets. The dresses are tailored to fit and I do notice some interesting patchwork going on.

I’m extremely smitten by the knitted tunic with loads of holes as well as the leather jacket with multiple zipper openings.

Again, I apologise for the lack of posterity.

It’s really hard when all you’re doing is work work work. It drains you out so much, oI haven’t been shopping much lately, although I did score an awesome drapey top from Ann Demeulemeester on eBay.

Dawn and I were at the skate park today taking pictures, it was pretty scary since both of us were afraid of being run down by random sk8terboys skateboarders.

Today’s look is centered around this T shirt which i brutally destroyed. It was made like months ago, I’ve stepped on the back and tore it while I was getting up from a squatting position. The washing machine raped it several times but I’m happy with how it looks except for the dangly bits which destroyed the whole drape.

The ripped Tshirt look has been around since S/S 08? Looks like it’s here to stay for quite some time. This remains one of my fav pieces to wear cause it’s so airy and cool. It’s especially awesome for Singapore’s hot and humid weather.
