Dress: Silence & Noise, Urban Outfitters
Necklace: m)phosis
Shoes: Esperenza

Pardon my ugly knees.

I was out with Dawn yesterday, the weather was brutal. The humidity kills and a glass of ice-cold Coke is a Godsend. Bless the genius who invented air-conditioning.

I’m finally wearing a different pair of shoes aside from the awesome engineer boots that I have. These are from Esperenza, a popular shoe retail chain store in Japan. I spotted some Givency knockoffs when I was browsing. Their shoes are mostly heeled or wedged, cause Japanese girls have indestructible feet. These were killing me by the end of the day as there was so much walking done.

The Silence & Noise dress has a material that would be too thick for Singapore’s weather. But fortunately for me, the huge armholes provided for some ventilation.

It seems as if black and Singapore weather have both agreed to disagree. Not only is the heat sweltering, the humidity in the air kills your hair with unerring efficiency as well. Instincts have told me to hole up in the comfort of an air-conditioned room, but nothing shall stand between me and good old retail therapy after a week of studying.

head

Headband from m)phosis, which everyone and their mother own. Nevertheless, I really love it. It’s probably my favourite hair accessory at the moment, and at only 9.90, it’s really something to rave about.

untitled-3-1

Lace scarf with pom-pom trim. 10 is a magical number for me. Hand me any cute accessory that costs below $10, and you can be sure as hell that I’ll grab it. It’s almost compulsive.

shoes

If you are like me and hate boots that ends right at the fattest portion of your calves, thigh high socks are a great solution to prevent your legs from turning into stumps. Or just to cover up scarred legs. Boots are from some shoe shop in Cambridge. If you happen to go there, Cambridge is actually filled with awesome shops, including All Saints which I have mentioned a few posts back.

hm-divided-exclusive-fall-09-collection-1

I’m a little late on this, just about every respectable fashion blogger has already posted on their enthusiasm for this new collection that is set to be released in Fall 2009.

Browsing through the pieces, I am especially excited about the fact that it is black and the accessories and big and chunky, justlike the way I like my Kit Kats.

I am totally going to get the bracelet and the belt.

Thoughts anyone?

Top: self-made, Pants: Express

Another one of those outfit posts.

The glasses are for an extra geekiness because we know g33ks rule the world. I love how this top makes me look as though I have a cape. I would pretend to be the world’s most awesome spy with this outfit. Ignore my exceedingly large bicep, I know I look like a man.

Hello all,

I’d first like to thank everyone who has graced us with your presence and more so to people whom have shown their love either by commenting or linking us back. The people who have followed us on Twitter, we did not forget you either. It is immensely supportive to a blog who has only been around for a few days.

In fact, it is a huge honour. ? And we thank you so much.

Dawn and I have been brainstorming ideas about stuff to post. With so many inspiring fashion blogs out there, it is difficult to decide which are the ones we love best and we think it should be the same for you too. Nonetheless, we strive to post insightful entries coupled with beautiful pictures.

Our email is still not working. We do hope you can bear with us with this blog looking pretty much like a default template of sorts. If you would like us to link you, please leave us a comment in this post with your blog link and how you would like your blog to be viewed (aka the title of your blog).

There is a high influx of posts for these few days, I’ve been churning out posts like a machine (which I hope I still managed to maintain the whole idea and theme revolving this blog) while Dawn has a more laid back approach to school. I am very glad she did manage to post despite her schedule or people would’ve suspected her of fleeing a doomed blog. (Oh the horror!!)

Once again, thank you very much for the support. We love you all.

?,
